Una diseñadora española es enviada a una comunidad Muxe en Oaxaca con la misión de tomar fotos, muestras y todo lo necesario para hacer las copias sin pagar regalía alguna. A través de ella, nos adentramos a esta comunidad Muxe, un lugar donde la cultura Zapoteca, la fiesta, el ritual, los colores vibrantes y el mezcal se mezclan con la intensidad de las emociones. La discriminaciñon, la pasión y el dolor compartido de los personajes se expresan en un espacio donde los géneros se funden en un tercero: los Muxes. Lo que atrapa al espectador es la estructura narrativa que privilegia lo visual con un notable compromiso preciosista con la imagen y la belleza. 

Finlandia fue nominada al Ariel (Oscar Mexicano) y Los Goyas (Oscar Español) y ganador de los premios: Framelina San Francisco International FF, Seattle Int FF, Oslo Fusion International, Out Fil CT y Perlen-Queer Film Festival.

A Spanish designer is sent to a Muxe community in Oaxaca with the mission of taking photos, samples and everything necessary to make copies without paying any royalties. Through it, we enter the Muxe community, a place where the Zapotec culture, the party, the ritual, the vibrant colors and the mezcal mix with the intensity of emotions. The discrimination, passion and shared pain of the characters are expressed in a space where genders merge into a third: the Muxes. But what captures the viewer is the narrative structure that privileges the visual with a notable precious commitment to image and beauty.
